Zimbabwe is considered to be very safe in comparison to many popular African destinations. No reports of gun or knife crimes against tourists.
It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of yourself and your property. Like in any place in the world you may encounter criminals targeting tourists. It is advisable to avoid travelling at night.
